Future
There are different verb forms to express plans for the future, depending on the type of plan, whether it's a spontaneous plan, pre-decided plan, or an arrangement.We can use different phrases in Simple Present that refer to the future, they don’t have a future structure but they show future desire.
Subject + will + NOT + verb in base form +complement + time epression
- She wants to be a famous chef when she grows up.
- We want to speak English when we finish the course.
We can also use the Present Continuous when the plan is an arrangement – already confirmed with at least one other person and we know the time and place.
We normally use the following phrases: later, tomorrow, tonight, this morning, this afternoon, this weekend, next month, on Monday, on Sunday.
- He is starting his new job on Monday.
- I'm meeting Beda at 9 o'clock on Sunday.
Future with "Will"
We use will to talk about spontaneous plans decided at the moment of speaking. Overall, will is a versatile and important verb in the English language when talking about the future.
We can also use it for predictions when there are supporting actions in the present or the past.
How to conjugate verbs:
Only add will plus the verb in base form, it means a verb without "to", "ing" or "s"
- comeré - will eat
- jugaré - will play
- estudiaré - will study
I will go to the store tomorrow to buy some groceries.
I will do my best to finish this project on time.
